This is somewhat related to crime thrillers except it focuses on a police person or detective who tries to solve crime. Supernatural Thrillers focus on other worldly elements that show out of the ordinary things happening to the protagonist and them having to overcome it. The protagonist usually posses a super natural gift that help them resolve the problem. It is very closely linked to religious thrillers often demons entering the body or alien life forms.
