Title:The Pretender
Tag Line: Finding a man who can turn
into anyone.

Synopsis: A policeman arrives at a school, he is part of the investigation of a
young girls disappearance and he is hoping to gain some information by
speaking to one of her teachers. During the interview the teacher seems
anxious and his facts don’t add up. He is quick to leave claiming he has a
lesson. On the police mans way out he is knocked unconscious. Then we see the
teacher dragging him into the shed inside the shed we see the struggling form
of the missing girl before the door is shut and the screen goes black.

Key Genre Conventions:

The protagonist is usually a detective or policeman trying to uncover
a crime.
·
The genre gets into the psyche of the audience as the audience have a
prime offense that they also follow as the protagonist is finding out the
information as well.
